9/10: Learning Salsa Caleña and Hiking Colombia's Coffee Region 💃🌴☕

Finally, we reach Colombia - the dreamland of so many - due to the gorgeous women, nature, coffee and I probably many other things.

Our first stop was Cali. When my dad heard about Cali his reaction was "why are you going to Cali? It si freaking dangerous. Full of cartels and bad people. Go somewhere else!". He made it a bit over the top, but as we quickly found out he had a point.

The main reason we came to Cali was because my friend Diego loves salsa and bachata. And Cali is the place one should be at if he is into salsa and bachata. So we went... Initally, I was not super excited about salsa, but throughout our trip I realized salsa is very handy skill to have to connect with girls. Moreover, one girl in particular told me that I would look very good dancing salsa. And so, I took a few lessons first in Lima. And as we arrived in Cali, I decided had no choice but to continue. We booked our spots in a Salsa & Bachata Hostel 😃 Yes, they have such things in Cali.

I quickly relized Cali is a top destination for people from all over the world coming to learn salsa and bachata. Endless salsa teachers, schools, group classes, private classes, and parties every night. And all of that at exceptionally low cost.

CALI-ente

Salsa Caleña is sooo cool! Bachata not for. Neiyher thr music nor the dancing resinates with me. But salsa is a different beast. Playfuk, energetic, entertaining, just so much fun! A physical ans sort of an intellectual challenge. Building the connwction and tension qith a woman and leafing here (caleña) is immensly cool (chevere).

Why are latinos and latinas warmer, nicer, easier to connect (and have sex with). I think it is due to:

In contrast in Bulgaria (and Europe in general) dancing is just not that part of the culture. And many of our traditional dances simply don't create the setup for a 1-1 man+woman dancing.

Statistic about how much sex people have in Latam & Europe.

But danger as well!

Arrebato!

Hostels offer a very nice vibe wher you can connect with outgoing youngsters in their 20s, many of whom solo travel through Latin America. You can obviously sleep dirth cheap at hostel dormitories. But you could also stay at single rooms or evenr small single apartments which offer both seclusion along with an immediate access to socialization with others at the hostel.

Cacao!!
